Singer steals show in Dubai solo grand concert

DUBAI: Gifted with a melodious voice, Suchetha Satish, stole the show in a grand concert in Dubai.

A large number of music lovers from all over the world admire her great knack for singing in a number of languages other than her mother tongue.

She is so proficient in singing in foreign languages that nobody can doubt that they are not her mother tongue. Her popularity is increasing day by day with her hard work and perseverance. She is a brilliant 16-yearold singer.

Suchetha Satish, multilingual singer and Guinness world record holder for singing in most languages, enthralled the audience with her maiden, solo, professional live in concert at the Sheikh Rashid auditorium in Dubai.

The event produced and organized by Playfield entertainment found Suchetha Satish singing in multiple languages including Arabic, Spanish, Turkish, Sinhalese, Zulu apart from major Indian languages and her mother tongue, Malayalam.

She left the listeners amazed with her stunning sweet voice.

The crowd comprising music lovers of all ages from various linguistic backgrounds had a unique experience as Suchetha kept the audience asking for more right from the first song, an old melody sung originally by Smt Lata Mangeshkar to a beautiful medley of songs presented as a tribute to Dr P Susheela and the foot tapping numbers in Tamil, Punjabi and Gujarati.

Suchetha Satish paid a tribute in Arabic to the great nation that UAE is and finally ended the concert which lasted two hours with an apt song in Hindi, whose lyrics said that no other evening is as good as this, with a style and atitude which reflected the rise of a diva. She was ably accompanied by an amazing set of musicians playing a 7 piece orchestra.

Suchetha, who can currently sing in 132 languages believes that music transcends the boundaries .The guest list included the bigwigs of the Indian community, besides other nationalities.
